I came to the US with my family from Vietnam
in December 1993. We have lived in Southern
California since then. In the Spring 1998, I moved to Berkeley to study,
and now I am a senior at University of
California, Berkeley where I am majoring in Electrical
Engineering and Computer Sience. Here is my
resume.
I will graduate in May 2000, and I will look for a job by then. I love to learn about computers very much because computers are fascinating and fun. I think that computers will bring significant changes in society, like the printing press and clocks did centuries ago. Computers will change how people work and think, and manage their personal lives. Ultimately, I expect computers to put the power and knowledge in the hands of individuals. What would I do in my spare time? Well, I like to travel, and
I've traveled a lot. Last summer (1999), my friends and I (five persons)
traveled around the US and Canada in 25 days by car. During the trip, we've
visited 35 states and three big Canadian cities: Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal.
We also camped in three national parks: Yosemite (CA), Yellow Stone (WY),
and Grand Canyon (AZ). We had a lot of fun and got along well during the
trip. We now just wonder if we have a chance to make such a long trip together
again.
